Inside it is east coast shack by way of the Fraser: seafood chowder, coconut prawns, a cioppino in sambuca tomato broth worth ordering messy. It has been the village's default celebration table for years, it holds a 4.2 across more than a thousand reviews, and the deck gets live music through the summer.
Ask for the patio, that is the entire point, and note it is seasonal so the window seats inside are the winter answer. The kitchen runs to 8pm most days and 9pm Friday and Saturday, so this is an early sitting rather than a late one. Order the seafood chowder and the coconut prawns, then the cioppino if you are properly hungry. Parking is free at the end of Chisholm Street by the wharf. Deas Island Regional Park and the Ladner dyke trails are both under ten minutes away if you want to walk it off.
