BLVD Bistro is the grown-up sibling of S'wich Cafe, two doors down in Queensbury Village, a pocket of small businesses tucked east of Lonsdale that most of the North Shore drives straight past. Chef Erik Juarez grew up here, opened S'wich in 2011, then spent eight months gutting the little restaurant next door. His benedicts arrive on house-made savoury bread pudding rather than a muffin, which reads like a gimmick right up until it lands. Walk-in only, done by early afternoon, with a garden out back.
