More infoBritannia opened its Ladner room in 2021 in the middle of the old fishing village, and it reads modern without being cold: a long dining room, a twenty seat bar that is the biggest in the village, and a large seasonal backyard patio out the back. Every tap is their own, from the easygoing Deckhand Lager through the Riptide IPA to the Sea Maiden watermelon sour, and there are proper cocktails if beer is not your thing. Happy hour runs weekday afternoons from 2:30. Parking on Delta Street is free and genuinely easy, which around here counts as a feature.
It sits right on Delta Street in the middle of Ladner Village, so park on the street and walk in. Ask what is pouring beyond the regulars: the Deckhand Lager is the easy one, the Riptide IPA the serious one, and the Sea Maiden sour is the one that surprises people. Take the big backyard patio if the weather is behaving and the long bar if it is not. Happy hour runs weekday afternoons from 2:30. Ninety minutes is about right, and every other stop in the village is a two minute walk from the door.
