Deep Cove is the kind of inlet you drive into and immediately feel your shoulders drop, and Arms Reach has been sitting at the water's edge of it for decades, making the most of that fact. The patio practically dips into Burrard Inlet. The kitchen runs honest seasonal West Coast cooking: Ocean Wise seafood, BC produce, a brunch that locals line up for and a dinner serious enough to earn the candles. It's also a date with a whole geography on its side. Walk the seawall, eye the kayaks, decide together whether Quarry Rock is too ambitious for tonight (it usually is).
