Arts & Culture
Abbotsford's public gallery and museum, with pay-what-you-can admission and a late opening every Tuesday.
Civic precinct, Central Abbotsford
More infoThe Reach calls itself the cultural heart of the Fraser Valley, and its exhibitions cover art, history and culture under one roof. Admission runs on a pay-what-you-can program, so it's an easy add to any Abbotsford plan. Tuesdays it stays open until 8 pm, which makes it a rare evening gallery stop outside the city. Check the site for what's on.
Park in Lot D, the shared municipal lot beside the building, and grab a free dashboard pass at the front desk if you use a Reach stall. Admission is pay what you can. Start with the main exhibition, then see what else is on in the other galleries. Hours are Tuesday 10 am to 8 pm, Wednesday to Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday noon to 5 pm, closed Sunday, Monday and holidays. Tuesday evening is the move if you want a gallery stop before dinner. Short on time? One gallery, twenty minutes.
