That Green Ideal is the biggest Emily Carr exhibition in more than two decades, a full-floor survey of the painter who turned British Columbia's forests and shorelines into something restless and alive. It is a slow, soulful wander for two, with plenty to linger over and talk about, and it stays open rain or shine in the heart of downtown. On view through November 8, 2026; gallery admission applies and Tuesday evenings run late.
