More infoThe West Vancouver Centennial Seawalk exists so the city can show off from the outside, and it looks extremely pleased with itself. Set off from the Ambleside Welcome Figure and Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and all of downtown line up across Burrard Inlet like they knew you were coming. It is 3.5 km of flat promenade to Dundarave Pier, now reopened after storm repairs. Go late in the day.
Start near the Ambleside Welcome Figure with Lions Gate and the downtown towers across the inlet, then follow the flat promenade west; it's 3.5 km to Dundarave Pier, so pick a there-and-back or a one-way to a coffee. Budget around 90 minutes and walk out onto the repaired piers. Go late so you arrive as the skyline lights up.
