This date sounds too easy to be this good. From the Sunset Beach dock, board a dinky False Creek ferry, roughly the size of a confident bathtub, and putter across to Granville Island in about five minutes. Graze the Public Market for oysters and something sweet, then catch a ferry back as the downtown skyline glows. The whole crossing runs under twenty bucks, and almost nobody plans it on purpose.
