Cozy & Intimate
A sub-zero vodka tasting room in Whistler Village: four vodkas of your choice, and a cellar of more than 15,000 bottles below.
Village Green, Whistler Village
More infoThe Grey Goose Ice Room at Bearfoot Bistro is a tasting room kept below freezing, where you taste four vodkas of your choice. The cold is the point: the venue says it enhances the flavour while softening the alcohol burn. Downstairs, the wine cellar holds more than 15,000 bottles, and the bistro offers champagne sabering for anyone who wants to open a bottle with a sword. It runs daily from 4:30 pm, reservations required.
Book online ahead: bookings are prepaid for parties of 2 to 10, and the tasting is $52 per person for four vodkas, with a 15% service charge added automatically. The Ice Room opens daily at 4:30 pm. The session is short, so the cold stays fun. If you're staying for dinner, ask about champagne sabering in the underground cellar, where you keep the cork in a presentation box. The bistro is on Village Green in the middle of Whistler Village, so walk from the day lots or your hotel.
