Cozy & Intimate
Enter through a Gastown pet psychic storefront; emerge in a velvet, candlelit tarot-bar that's theatrical without being embarrassing.
The storefront says 'pet psychic.' This is correct and also not what you're here for. Walk through and you land in Arcana: part 1930s French salon, part occult fever dream, all candle-flicker and velvet and small glass cases of curiosities you'll spend the whole night not quite looking away from. The cocktail list is built around the tarot deck, which sounds gimmicky until you realize the drinks are actually very good, and the European-fusion small plates give you something to eat between rounds of drawing your fate. It's theatrical all the way down but never tips into joke, which is the hardest thing to pull off. Smart to book on weekends. Arrive with a story about what card you'd be, compare answers, and let the room do the rest.
