Seventies Cocktails at Key Party

A shag-carpeted 1970s speakeasy hidden behind a fake accounting office, where the cocktails are far better than the decor suggests.

Key Party is committed to the bit, which you realize the moment you walk through a completely normal-looking accounting office on Main Street and emerge into a dim, shag-carpeted time capsule of the 1970s, wood paneling and low couches and a name whose innuendo is right there in the open, winking at you. The cocktails are the actual draw: original creations and winking twists on 60s and 70s classics, made by people who clearly take the drinks more seriously than the decor, which is the right order of priorities. No reservations means you want the earlier end of the evening, before the after-work crowd discovers the accounting office. Keep a straight face at the door. Order something with a garnish doing too much. Enjoy the joke; it's a good one.
