HALSA is a calm little sanctuary on W 4th Ave with four flotation rooms, two private infrared saunas, and the kind of hush that immediately convinces your nervous system everything is fine. What makes it a date and not just a very pleasant Tuesday: the double-sized Ocean Float Rooms, where you can actually float in body-temperature saltwater side by side, weightless and completely screen-free, for however long you've booked. Then you compare notes over complimentary tea afterward, which is an unusually intimate debrief and also the most relaxed conversation you will have all week. It's rain-proof, phone-proof, and somehow both romantic and deeply restorative at the same time. The bar for all future dates has been silently, unfairly raised.
