Flat South Langley trails through meadow, farmland and heritage barn territory, rated 4.7 by thousands of people who could not stop talking about it.
Campbell Valley does not make you work for it. The 29 km of unpaved trails through South Langley's meadows, old farmland and forest are flat enough that you will actually talk the whole way without the conversation being interrupted by gasping or elevation checks on your phone. A heritage barn shows up mid-walk like a very photogenic non-sequitur, boardwalks handle the wetter sections, birdsong replaces all traffic noise, and herons stand in the marsh doing what herons do, which is absolutely nothing but somehow it is riveting. Loop the perimeter, stop when your legs suggest it, and picnic. It is free, dog-friendly, and rated 4.7 across thousands of reviews, which for a park full of flat trails and birds is either testament to how good it is, or to how much Langley people love the outdoors. Probably both.
