Walnut Wine and Preserves at Vista D'oro

A ten-acre South Langley farm where the fortified walnut wine tastes like Christmas and the preserves are genuinely strange in the best way.

Vista D'oro is ten acres of South Langley farmland overlooking Campbell Valley Park, and on a clear day the Golden Ears range sitting above everything like a postcard you didn't quite earn. It's beloved for two things that sound odd until you try them: D'oro, a fortified walnut wine that really does taste like Christmas in a glass, and a shelf of wildly creative preserves (peach and lemon verbena with champagne, craft-beer jam) that you will absolutely buy and immediately regret not buying more of. The tasting space is small and rustic, which means reservations matter, especially on sunny weekends when a pizza truck sometimes appears and the whole plan quietly upgrades itself. It's an unusual date. It's a gift-able date. Come for the walnut wine, leave arguing about which jam to take home.
