Tickets come with a 30-minute arrival window, and the ticket store says late arrivals will not be accommodated, in the tone of someone who has already started carving. She's redecorated, too. New for 2026, there's a whole forest in the hallway: the Wishing Forest, an interactive holiday woodland in the market alleys. The guest list is pure aunt. Santa or the Grinch visits daily, the market doesn't promise which, so arrive with a face that works for both. Split the jobs. One of you owns the arrival window; the other decides when to leave, and will be found at the new fire pit lounge saying 'five more minutes' for the third time. Like every Christmas at hers, getting in is strict and getting out is a negotiation.
Book single-entry tickets and pick an arrival window you can both genuinely make, since late arrivals aren't accommodated. Then stay as long as you like: walk the Wishing Forest in the market alleys, check whether Santa or the Grinch is on duty, and thaw on the Alpen Haus heated seating or at the fire pit lounge. Doors close 30 minutes before closing. No outside food, drinks or pets.
Kids 6 and under get in free with no ticket, pass or time slot, so the smallest elves cost nothing except patience. A family season pass covers two adults and two youth aged 7 to 14.
Wide paved paths, stroller and wheelchair ramps at the main entrance, free stroller parking, accessible washroom trailers and heated seating in the Alpen Haus. The market suggests Monday to Thursday 4 to 6pm or weekend openings for smaller crowds. Youth 7 to 14 need a ticket; adult prices are not a family total.
