The Quebec Street shop sits just up from the southeast False Creek seawall, so a scoop slots neatly onto the end of a waterfront walk.
Stop into Earnest, take a taster of whatever seasonal flavour is on, and grab scoops or a jar to go, ideally the reusable glass kind you bring back for the deposit. Carry it the short block down to the southeast False Creek seawall by Olympic Village and eat it looking across the water at the downtown skyline. About thirty minutes, and a lovely, low-key way to let a waterfront evening wind down.
