Foodie Experiences
The Langley sleeper with a 4.8 rating and seats so few that booking one is basically a love letter.
Annora is the restaurant that Langley locals mention only after they decide they like you, in quiet voices, with the slightly possessive air of someone sharing a good seat. Chef Aaron Turkstra runs a tiny, chef-owned room where West Coast seafood and meat arrive plated with jeweller-level precision and a 4.8 rating that makes it the best restaurant in the city by a margin that should embarrass everywhere else. There aren't many seats. A reservation is genuinely essential. The dining room is hushed and candle-lit and quiet enough that you can actually hear your date, which, it turns out, is not a given at good restaurants. Come slow, order everything the kitchen offers, and surrender the agenda for the evening. The drive from Vancouver will feel like exactly the right kind of pilgrimage.
