Nothing reveals a person's true nature like watching them cross a wobbling 137-metre plank bridge strung 70 metres above a river canyon. Capilano leans fully in, adding the Cliffwalk cantilevered over the gorge on a glass-floored ledge and a Treetops loop through old-growth Douglas firs. Yes it's touristy, but gripping someone's hand mid-span fast-tracks chemistry. Book after 5 p.m. in peak season to save 25 percent.
