Pints at Ridge Brewing

Maple Ridge's original 2015 craft brewery, with the honest tasting-room warmth that every big flashy taproom is still trying to fake.

Ridge Brewing opened in 2015 as one of Maple Ridge's first craft breweries, before the rest of the industry figured out that the real product was exposed ductwork and branded glassware. The tasting room is small. The flights are good. The comfort food is what it says. Nobody here is trying to impress you with reclaimed wood, and as a result the whole place has an everybody-knows-everybody warmth that is very hard to manufacture and Ridge has never had to. This is the first-date format where the conversation does the heavy lifting, not the venue. Order a flight, pick the one you'd drink a full pint of, argue about it, and let an hour disappear. Exactly the kind of low-key that still feels like you went somewhere.
