Grab the little terrace on a sunny day and you get front-row seats to The Drive's endlessly entertaining pedestrian parade. Order too much, share all of it, and let the neighbourhood handle your after-dinner stroll.
Order and pay at the counter, then claim a table, or the little terrace if the sun's out and you want The Drive's best people-watching. Get the oxtail stew (rich, falling apart) and the jerk chicken to share; both come with rice 'n' peas and that's plenty. Don't miss adding fried plantain and, if you're curious, a Jamaican patty to start. Portions are big and prices are kind, so over-order and split. It closes early at 7pm, so don't bank on a late dinner; budget about an hour and a quarter and walk it off afterward.
