Caffe Calabria is not subtle and does not want to be. Family-run since 1976, it's the most theatrically romantic room on the Drive: marble counters, chandeliers and full-size Roman-style statues watching you drink a cappuccino like it's an opera scene. It's cash only, which feels correct for a place that has ignored trends for fifty years. Bring someone with a fondness for excess. Grandview Park waits outside.
