Foodie Experiences
The Steveston heritage room that played Granny's Diner on Once Upon a Time, open at 9am for bennies, omelettes and chowder a block off the boardwalk.
More infoMoncton Street has been feeding Steveston since the canneries did, and the Cannery Cafe has been part of that since 1988. Plenty of visitors know the building better as Granny's Diner, the Storybrooke hangout from Once Upon a Time, and the room leans into that without turning itself into a gift shop. The cooking is comfort food with a fishing-village accent: eggs benny, omelettes, chowder, chicken and waffles. Doors open at 9, which in Steveston means you can eat before the village fills up and still be out on the boardwalk by ten.
