Wood N Frog is the reason Tsawwassen never had to settle for a drive-through. It is a coffee house and licensed bistro on 12th Avenue, baking its own pastry from scratch, pulling serious espresso and putting out breakfast sandwiches, lox and bagels, soups and salads that locals eat several times a week. The room is warm and a little eclectic, the staff know the regulars by name, and the doors open at 7. Tsawwassen sits twenty minutes from the Boundary Bay dyke, Centennial Beach and the ferry, so this is the right first stop for anything happening south of the tunnel.
