Arrive at the Skyride base after 5:45pm for the $34 Sunset Special and ride up with the light going gold. Walk the plateau to the west lookouts for the sunset over the city and the Strait, then claim the Altitudes patio for drinks or dinner. Bring a real layer, the summit runs ten degrees cooler, and check the day's sunset time so the ride up lands an hour before it.
