Each June, Commercial Drive kicks out the cars and throws the city's largest free cultural street party: fourteen car-free blocks, 100-plus food vendors, live stages, and a sea of vintage Vespas and espresso. Admission is a firm zero dollars, though the cannoli will get you eventually. Go hungry, wear comfy shoes, and follow the smell of garlic. In 2026 it runs Sunday June 14, noon to 8pm.
