By day it's a warm Italian cafe of marble and timber with a pastry case built to wreck your resolve, cornetti and espresso done properly. By evening the lights drop and it becomes a wine bar, so the same date runs easy or brave. Grandview Park handles the rest.
Order espresso and a cornetto or a slice from the case, and sit in rather than taking it to go, the marble-and-timber room is comfortable enough to lose an hour in. If it's evening and going well, the same room becomes a wine bar, so you never have to relocate. Commercial Drive and Grandview Park are the second act.
