Ever lost an evening to strangers' videos online? Forecasting turns that habit into a performance. Barbara Matijevic and Giuseppe Chico bring the piece to The Dance Centre on two nights only, Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14, at 8pm. It's a bare stage, a laptop's worth of found clips and a performer who plays along with them. The Dance Centre labels it mature content. It runs about 45 minutes, which leaves plenty of evening, and Saturday adds an artist talkback. Tickets are $38, or $29 if you're under 30, plus a $1 facility fee. Davie Street makes the rest easy: Takis Taverna for a Greek platter before, and Breka across the road for late cake and coffee, open around the clock.
Book through Showpass ($38, or $29 under 30, plus $1). Eat at Takis Taverna in Davie Village beforehand, then walk to The Dance Centre at Davie and Granville for the 8pm start. At about 45 minutes, it leaves room for a slice at Breka afterwards.
