Raven Spirit Dance, Vanguardia Dance Projects and Aanmitaagzi bring a double bill to The Dance Centre on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, at 7:30pm. It's a Canada and Peru collaboration about land, displacement and ancestral memory: Spine of the Mother and Conversations: Hidden Stories. The evening runs about 105 minutes including a 15-minute intermission, and Saturday ends with an artist talkback. Tickets are $38, or $29 if you're under 30, plus a $1 facility fee. Jeon on Davie does chef-driven modern Korean around the corner. Afterwards, Takis Taverna is close by for a late Greek dinner, or go straight to Breka for cake.
