Foodie Experiences
Tsawwassen's quiet fine-dining secret: a husband and wife kitchen, dry-aged AAA beef, house pasta and a 4.6 built over a decade.
56 Street, Tsawwassen
More infoChef Roland and Joeqyna have run this room on 56 Street for more than a decade, which in a town this size is its own kind of endorsement. The cooking is upscale Italian with a steakhouse streak: house pasta, dry-aged AAA Canadian beef, West Coast seafood, and a wine list deeper than the postcode suggests. Low light, local art on the walls, servers who have been here long enough to steer you properly. Doors open at 4pm Wednesday to Sunday and the room is small, so book.
Call ahead, the room seats a few dozen and the end of the week fills first. Doors open at 4pm Wednesday to Sunday and it is closed Monday and Tuesday. Order the way the kitchen wants you to: something off the lighter fare, then a house pasta, then the dry-aged AAA beef or whatever seafood came in that week. Ask for a BC pairing, the list runs deeper than the strip outside suggests. Parking is free in the plaza lot, and the Tsawwassen dyke and Centennial Beach are ten minutes south if you want a walk afterwards.
