Foodie Experiences
A Burnaby Heights pasta institution since 1986 where one bowl genuinely feeds two and the lineup out the door is non-negotiable.
Anton's has been the Heights' pasta institution since 1986, and the portions are not a rumour. One bowl arrives roughly the size of a satellite dish and will feed two hungry people, with enough left for tomorrow if you show any restraint at all. No reservations, which means the lineup snaking out the door is non-negotiable: grab a number, lean on the railing, and let the anticipation do what anticipation does. Inside, it's warm wood, hanging Chianti bottles, and servers who are harried-but-cheerful in a way that only arrives after years of practice, slinging garlic toast with conviction. It is loud. It is generous. Splitting one enormous plate turns out to be more intimate than ordering two polite ones, a discovery Anton's has been facilitating for nearly forty years. Burnaby has always known exactly what it's doing here.
