Via Tevere's Morra brothers are opening a 33-seat pasta room in Yaletown named after their grandmother, and it will be the date reservation everyone wants.
Mainland Street, Yaletown
More infoDom and Frank Morra set this city's Neapolitan pizza benchmark with Via Tevere, and now they are pointing the family name at pasta. Rosalia Osteria now says it opens in November 2026 at 1127 Mainland Street in Yaletown, 600 square feet and 33 seats, named for the grandmother whose Sunday table is the entire brief. House-made pasta sits at the centre of the posted menu, with rigatoni carbonara at $29 and rigatoni alla vodka at $32. The Morras also run Don't Argue Pizza, so the track record here is not theoretical.
Thirty-three seats in 600 square feet means the reservation is the whole plan, not a detail. Watch the Morras' channels for the day bookings open, then take the first or last slot rather than the 7:30 everyone fights over. Order across the house-made pasta and share a couple of plates, because pasta is the stated centre of the menu. First-timers will treat a room this size like a walk-in and eat somewhere else.
