More infoThe Dining Room sits inside the original Butchart residence, a conservatory-walled space that looks straight out into the gardens Jennie Butchart grew out of a worked-out limestone quarry. Dinner runs Wednesday through Sunday from 5pm and only through high summer, entrees from the mid thirties to the low sixties, with a wine list that leans hard on BC. Gardens admission is required to reach the table, which is either a catch or a very good excuse to walk the Sunken Garden first.
Book ahead through OpenTable. Dinner service runs Wednesday to Sunday, 5pm to 8pm, and only through high summer, roughly the end of May to the first week of September. Gardens admission is required and it is not cheap in July, so treat the garden walk as part of the plan rather than a toll: do the Sunken Garden and the Rose Garden first, then sit down. Entrees run from the mid thirties to the low sixties and the wine list leans BC. Parking is free in the big lot at the gates and it packs out on fireworks Saturdays, so come early.
