More info

The date

Jennie Butchart looked at an exhausted limestone quarry and thought: flower garden. The whole world now flies in to see what she did. Start in the Sunken Garden, her original creation, where blooms tumble into the old quarry pit as if the rock always meant to end this way. Then drift through the Rose, Japanese and Italian Gardens. In summer, stay for the Saturday-night fireworks.
