Order the tower and let the shells pile up.
No reservations here, just walk in, which makes it a great spontaneous move. Grab seats at the bar, order a tower of BC oysters shucked to order right in front of you, and add moules frites or a lobster roll; for a flourish, split a little caviar service. Budget about an hour and a half, and time it for happy hour (Mon-Sat 2-5, all day Sunday) if you can. Don't miss watching the shucking up close. You're dead-centre downtown for a wander after.
