More infoEach summer Coquitlam throws a handful of free outdoor concerts at Town Centre Park: tribute acts and local headliners from 7 to 9, with food trucks rolling in at 6. Bring a blanket, grab a taco, and settle on the lawn while you quietly discover each other's opinions on tribute bands, which is genuinely useful intel. Lafarge Lake is a two-minute stroll for a sunset lap afterward.
These are summer-only and date-specific, check the City of Coquitlam Summer Concerts page for this year's two or three nights before you plan around it (2025 ran mid-July to early September). Park free in the Town Centre Park lots off Pinetree and arrive by 6 pm when the food trucks open, so you've eaten and claimed lawn space before the 7-9 pm set. It's beside the Community Plaza stage; don't miss walking the two minutes over to Lafarge Lake afterward for a golden-hour loop, the concert plus the lake is the whole date, and it costs nothing.
