Two days old and already loud. Cantina Social Club opened July 22 at 367 Seymour St from the team behind Chupito, taking the old school Mexican cantina, a drinking house first and a restaurant second, and pointing it at contemporary Mexican cooking built on Pacific Northwest ingredients. It began as a pop up, and the DNA shows: the room is built around the bar, the volume sits just under conversation stopping, and nobody is whispering.
