Slow-Bar Pour-Over at Timbertrain

A Gastown roastery dressed like a vintage railway carriage, pouring the kind of coffee that makes you forget you had somewhere to be.

The date

Timbertrain roasts its own beans and serves them in a room styled like the dining car of a train that only visits nice places: dark wood, brass fittings and flattering light. It poured Vancouver's first nitro cold brew, but the real event is the slow bar, where rotating single origins get the hand-pour treatment while you pretend to read the tasting notes. The Steam Clock waits outside.
