Minnekhada is the hike the North Shore crowds haven't found yet, which is your gain. The easy 6.5 km loop winds through quiet forest and old farm dikes before a brief rocky push pops you onto a bald knoll staring over the Pitt-Addington Marsh, with Mount Baker hanging across the border on a clear day. This is bear country, so make noise, and park at the Quarry Road lot.
