Yan's House is the Cantonese dim sum room that PoCo comes back to for a reason, and that reason is mostly the cart. The format here is immediate and joyful: a steam cart rolls up, you point, you share, someone reaches across and takes the last har gow, and now you know something important about each other. Har gow through xiao long bao, generous portions, fair prices, and a busy room packed with regulars who figured this out years ago. It's daytime only, so you'll be done before the dinner crowd even starts thinking about plans. Come hungry enough to actually commit to the long order sheet, and resist the urge to be polite about the dumplings. First date, fifth date, doesn't matter. This works.
