East Vancouver studios, Columbia St to Victoria Dr
More infoOnce a year, East Vancouver's artists open their studio doors and let you wander in. The Eastside Culture Crawl runs November 19 to 22, 2026, across the area between Columbia Street, First Avenue, Victoria Drive and the waterfront, with more than 500 artists taking part. Painting, pottery, glassblowing, jewellery, furniture: you'll see work in progress and meet the people making it. The Crawl's FAQ says there's no charge to attend. Our tip is the evening hours, Thursday and Friday from 5pm to 10pm, when the old warehouses are lit up and nobody's in a hurry. Plan a loop with a dinner stop. Kissa Tanto and Bao Bei in Chinatown sit at the western edge of the Crawl. On the Commercial Drive side, La Mezcaleria does tacos and mezcal and Bar Corso is good for an aperitivo.
Check the building map on culturecrawl.ca and pick three or four studios close together, since walking between big buildings eats time. Thursday and Friday run 5pm to 10pm; the weekend is 11am to 6pm. Start near Chinatown and break for dinner at Bao Bei, or finish on Commercial Drive at Bar Corso.
