More infoThe touring production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast is in town for six days only, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre from Tuesday, November 24 to Sunday, November 29. It was close to sold out when we checked Ticketmaster on November 2: standard seats were $288.57 and verified resale started at $203.92 for opening night. Evening shows are 7:30pm Tuesday to Saturday, with 2pm and 1pm matinees on the weekend and a 6:30pm Sunday closer. The weekend matinees are the family pick. The evenings make a grown-up night of it: pizza and paella at Social Corner on Homer before, and a cocktail at Bartholomew in Yaletown afterwards.
Check Ticketmaster for any remaining seats (standard $288.57, resale from $203.92 when we looked). For an evening show, eat at Social Corner at Homer and Smithe, four blocks away, and be seated by 7:20pm. Bartholomew on Mainland Street is a ten-minute walk for a nightcap.
A short six-day touring run of the Disney musical, with weekend matinees at 2pm Saturday and 1pm Sunday that suit younger kids. The venue requires a ticket for everyone, including children and infants in arms.
