Scoops at Rocky Point Ice Cream

Hand-churned small-batch since 1997 in Port Moody, with banana fudge, espresso flake, and a doggie scoop for the third wheel.

Rocky Point Ice Cream has been the unofficial conclusion to every Port Moody afternoon since 1997, and if you've ever stood in a line that snakes past a dog who also has plans here, you understand the loyalty. Everything is hand-churned from local, organic ingredients, which is the kind of detail that sounds like marketing until you taste the banana fudge. The espresso flake is equally argued-over. Order two flavours you've never shared before, split a cone, and stroll the inlet while racing the melt. The dog is welcome too, and yes, there's a doggie scoop so they don't just watch you eat. Plant-based options exist for the person on the date who made that decision. The whole outing costs less than a movie ticket, and unlike a movie, no one shushes you for talking.
