The Empourium is the cafe you hope a small village has: independent, warm, hung with local art, with a shelf of board games and a case of house baking to go with genuinely good coffee. It sits right in the middle of Brentwood Bay, about a kilometre from the wharf and two from Butchart Gardens, which makes it the obvious place to sit and share a dessert before or after the big garden. It has won local awards for both the coffee and the baking, and the reviews stay warm.
