It's right under the glass dome behind the Vancouver Art Gallery, leave the car and take SkyTrain to Vancouver City Centre, it's literally upstairs. Skating's free; rent skates on-site for about $5 (helmets free for kids, and yes, you can wear one with zero shame). Do a few warm-up laps holding the rail, then graduate to holding each other; the best photo is from the steps looking down over the rink and dome. Toes cold?
