The date

The Blue Nile has served Victoria for nearly two decades and reopened freshly spruced on Douglas Street. The family still runs the coffee ceremony themselves: beans imported from Ethiopia, roasted the traditional way, the whole slow ritual carried out at your table. Dinner before that is a shared platter of injera and Ethiopian-Eritrean stews eaten by hand. Rated 4.7. Order the combination platter and let the evening breathe.
