Meo is at the bottom of the stairs below Michelin-starred Kissa Tanto in Chinatown, which is the Bao Bei team's idea of what a 1970s love motel should look like if it aged extremely well. The room is dim, soft red light, velvet everything, with a jukebox you control yourself and the occasional smooth-jazz set for when you want the bar to make the musical decisions. The Matcha Highball and the Paloma are regulars on every must-order list, and the kitchen sends down small, sharp snacks to keep things grounded.
