The Snug has served the neighbourhood since 1954, though 'neighbourhood' is doing some work, because this stretch of Beach Drive has Mount Baker filling the window and the open strait doing the rest. It's technically a pub: local taps, elevated pub plates, a fireplace for grey days and a patio for the good ones. As first dates go, the scenery covers any conversational pauses with zero effort from you.
