More infoThe New York Rangers only come to Vancouver once a season, and this year they land on a Friday the 13th. Puck drop at Rogers Arena is 7pm on November 13. It's priced like a Friday, too. Standard tickets started at $107 in the upper bowl and reached $365 in the lower bowl when we checked Ticketmaster on November 2. If you're going to splurge on one regular-season game this fall, this is a fair pick: a big-market visitor, a weekend crowd and nobody at work tomorrow. Book dinner for 5pm at Fanny Bay Oyster Bar on Cambie, a short walk from the arena. After the game, Chinatown is ten minutes away: The Keefer Bar for an apothecary cocktail, or Gastown's Blood Alley if you want to keep walking.
Buy seats through Ticketmaster (from $107 when we checked) and book an early table at Fanny Bay Oyster Bar on Cambie, a short walk away. Puck drop is 7pm, so be in your seats by 6:45pm for warm-ups. Afterwards, walk ten minutes to The Keefer Bar in Chinatown and let the crowd clear.
