When we checked Ticketmaster on November 2, standard seats ran from $82.52 in the 300 level to $270.52 down low, before an order fee of up to $7.50. Our take: the upper bowl is the better deal on a weeknight. You see the plays develop, and the money you save buys dinner. About that dinner. Fanny Bay Oyster Bar on Cambie is a five-minute walk and does oysters and bubbles quickly enough to make warm-ups. After the final horn, skip the SkyTrain crush and walk up to Gastown for a drink at Arcana Spirit Lounge or the wine list at Is That French in Blood Alley.
Buy seats on Ticketmaster through the Canucks (upper bowl from about $83 when we checked). Eat early at Fanny Bay Oyster Bar on Cambie, five minutes from the doors, and get in before the 7:30pm puck drop for warm-ups. After the game, walk ten minutes to Gastown for a drink while the crowd fights for the SkyTrain.
