Vancouver Christmas Market: Tuesday Date Nights for Two

By Date Spark team · Published

The Vancouver Christmas Market returns to Jack Poole Plaza, 1055 Canada Place, from November 16 to December 24, 2026, and this season it sells a package built for couples. Date Night runs on Tuesdays from November 17 to December 15 at $43.99 for two, and the market's ticket store says it covers two admissions, two drinks, two photobooth strips and a keepsake pouch with a love lock and a date-night checklist.

Is the $43.99 Tuesday package worth it?

Single-entry tickets start at $7.99 in pre-sale, which ends November 15, so on any Tuesday after that two plain admissions cost at least $16 and the package's premium for the drinks, photos and pouch is at most about $28. We could not find drink prices on the market's site, so we cannot tell you the exact saving. What the bundle buys for certain is a planned evening with fewer decisions at the gate, which on a weeknight in December is worth something.

Every single ticket comes with a 30-minute arrival window, and the ticket terms say late arrivals will not be accommodated, while the FAQ says a few minutes late may get you into the next slot if there is room. Book ahead either way: prices go up on the day. On crowds, the market contradicts itself: its accessibility guide suggests Monday to Thursday between 4pm and 6pm, while its FAQ lists weekday evenings from 4pm and all day Friday to Sunday as the busiest times. Its other tip is the safer one: come early in the season and pick an early slot.

New corners worth finding together

New for 2026 are the Wishing Forest, an interactive woodland in the village alleys, a Fire Pit Lounge, a Secret Cocktail Wall where you ring a bell and Santa or the Grinch may hand you your drink through a hidden window, new German village facades at the entrance and a limited-edition tree-shaped Glühwein mug. Lover's Lane is the spot the market sets aside for couples to leave their names. The Prost Show, a communal Glühwein toast under the Pyramid, happens at 7pm daily, and the tree lighting ceremony is on opening night, Monday, November 16, at 6pm.

Practical notes: the market is outdoors, there is no re-entry once you leave, the Box Office and every alcohol hut are cashless, and alcohol purchases need two pieces of ID, one of them government photo ID. Waterfront Station is about a 10-minute walk away.

Pre-sale ends November 15

Season passes are $32.99 per person until November 15 and $35.99 after, with unlimited visits, a priority entrance lane, no time-slot booking and 10 percent off at vendors, alcohol excluded. Passes are named and non-transferable. At the $7.99 starting price, a pass only beats single tickets on your fifth visit, so we would buy one only if you live or work downtown and plan to treat the Fire Pit Lounge as your December living room. For one perfect night, book a Tuesday Date Night and get there before the 7pm toast.
